Fix a broken Zap or scenario
It worked for months and stopped on Friday. An expired token, a renamed field, an app that changed its API. Found, fixed, and the missed records re-run.

You don’t need to learn the tool. You need the thing to work by Friday.
Jobs I do every week
Written the way clients describe them, not the way tools describe them. Each card opens the message form with the job already typed in.

How a job runs
Most small jobs finish on day one or two. Five is the promise, not the plan.
A message, a screenshot, or a 20-minute call. Say “urgent” if orders are being lost and it moves to the front.
Access is granted, I diagnose, and you get a one-line confirmation: €490 fix, a bigger quote, or “not worth it”. If it can’t be done, refund.
On your real data, with the failure alerts most setups are missing. You see it work before I call it done.
A short document of what was done and why, so anyone can maintain it. 30 days of fixes if the same thing breaks again.
The promise, in plain words
You pay €490 upfront so we both take it seriously. I look first. If the honest answer is “this can’t be done as described”, the full amount comes back before any work starts — and you get told what would be needed instead. Once I start, the price is fixed however long it takes me.
Straight from the inbox
Messages from real clients after automation, build and integration work went live. Copied out of the inbox as written, trimmed for length, never reworded. Surnames dropped on purpose.
That was very helpful. Thank you for the time you put into describing this to me. I just did the tag myself — super psyched I don't have to do this manually every time :D
You are the best!! Thanks for bringing my vision to life, you have a wonderful skill set!!
Hooray!!! Thanks so much Edgar. And all the sense checks and everything — so appreciated.
Done and done!! We are so grateful and excited!!
I did test purchase the funnel. Time to launch and get my ads out there.
Rockstar. Thank you Edgar.
Three sizes of job
Fixed prices, no hourly billing, and the number in writing before any work starts. Most people who arrive with a broken automation want the first one.
One broken automation fixed, or one new automation of up to about ten steps across two apps. Most urgent problems are exactly this size.
For when you never want to think about it again. Built, hosted, monitored and fixed whenever an app changes.
Several connected automations built as one system and handed over. Scoped and quoted in writing first.
Not sure which one? Send the problem and I will tell you. A fix is a fix. If it turns out you need a process that stays healthy for years, the Managed plan includes the build with nothing upfront and the 6-month term is simply how a build worth around €2,900 gets paid for — the work is yours from day one either way.
No agency. No account manager.
I’m Edgar. I have built and repaired automations in Zapier, Make, n8n and the CRMs around them for small businesses across Europe, and I take no commission from any tool — so when I tell you to keep, fix or move, it is because it is right for you. We work in English, on Central European time.
Good questions
Everything people ask before handing a stranger the keys to their Zapier account.
The job
One broken automation brought back to working order, or one new automation of up to about ten steps connecting two apps — for example “new HubSpot deal → invoice in Moneybird → Slack message”. If what you describe is bigger, I tell you on the first look and quote it properly instead of squeezing it in. You never find out it was bigger from the invoice.
Zapier, Make (Integromat), n8n, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, WhatsApp Business, Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, and anything with an API. If your tool is not on the list, send it — the honest answer is usually yes.
I do not earn from any of them, so the answer is about you, not me. Zapier if you value the widest app list and someone else pays the bill. Make if you want more logic for less money. n8n if you run many automations, handle sensitive data, or want to own the server. If you already have one working, the right answer is usually “keep it and fix it” — I will say so.
A fix or small build is delivered within 5 working days of having access — most are done in one or two. Urgent (“it broke and we are losing orders”) usually gets looked at the same day; tell me in the message. Bigger systems get a written timeline before anything starts.
Yes, and it is a large share of the work. I map what exists, tell you what is dead, fragile or dangerous, fix what matters and document the rest. You get a picture of your own setup, often for the first time.
Apps change their APIs; anything connected to them can break. What I do about it: fixes are built to fail loudly (you get told) rather than silently; a one-off job carries 30 days of fixes if the same thing recurs; the Managed plan carries unlimited fixes for as long as you are on it. What I will not do is promise something no automation expert can.
Money, access and trust
You pay the €490 upfront. I look at the problem first. If I conclude it cannot be done as described — the app has no API, the data is not there, the fix would need something you do not have — I refund the full amount before any work and tell you what would be needed instead. Once I have started, the price is fixed regardless of how long it takes me.
The least that will work: an invite to your Zapier, Make or n8n account, or an API key scoped to the specific app, created by you and revocable by you at any moment. I do not need your passwords and will never ask for a personal login. My security policy sets out how access is handled and removed afterwards.
Both, gladly. The Data Processing Agreement is already published and applies from the day you start. Send your own NDA and I will sign it, or I will send you mine.
No, and on purpose. Partner programmes pay a commission for keeping you on their tool. I do not take any, which is why I can tell you to move off a tool when that is the right answer. What I have instead is the work: automations running for clients across several countries, and a written guarantee on every small job.
You do, on every option. A one-off job is yours at handover. On the Managed plan it is yours from day one and exported on request, including mid-term. Nothing is held back and nothing is encrypted against you.
Central European time, and we work in English. That covers a normal working day for the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, the Nordics and Ireland, and the morning for the US East Coast.
No, and thank you for reading this far. This page is for businesses with an automation to fix or build. Please do not book a call slot for a job enquiry.
