PAYMENT
PROTOCOL.
Transparent rules for payments, cancellations, and refunds.
Last updated: July 8, 2026
01. Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided under the Opsionic trade name, including automation development, integration services, consulting, technical implementation, automation subscriptions, and managed web hosting.
This policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions. Services are offered to businesses and professionals (B2B).
02. Custom Development Services
All custom automation, integration, or development work is considered bespoke digital service.
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Milestone payments are non-refundable once the milestone is delivered.
- Time-based work is billed for hours already performed.
If a project is canceled mid-development, the client is responsible for payment for work completed up to the cancellation date.
03. Subscriptions (Automation & Hosting)
- Subscriptions (automation plans and managed hosting) may be canceled at any time, with effect from the end of the current billing period.
- Billing periods already started are payable in full; no partial refunds for unused time within an active billing period.
- Access and service continue until the end of the paid period unless suspended for policy violations or non-payment.
- For hosting: a standard export of your website files and databases is provided free within 30 days of termination for paid-up accounts (see Terms, Managed Hosting).
04. Client Delays & Abandonment
If a client fails to provide required materials, approvals, or access for more than 30 days:
- The project may be paused.
- Paid amounts remain non-refundable.
- Resumption may require re-quotation.
05. Digital Deliverables
Due to the nature of digital services and intellectual property transfer, delivered code, documentation, or system architecture is non-refundable once provided.
06. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Initiating a payment chargeback without first contacting Opsionic constitutes a breach of contract.
- All project documentation and communication may be used as evidence.
- Access to systems may be suspended during dispute resolution.
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action.
07. Exceptional Refunds
Refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of the operator in rare circumstances where:
- No work has commenced.
- Duplicate payments occurred.
- Legal compliance requires reimbursement.
Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method where possible.
08. Business Clients (B2B)
Opsionic services are offered to businesses and professionals only. By purchasing, the client confirms it acts in the course of a trade, business, craft, or profession — not as a consumer. Consumer withdrawal rights therefore do not apply.
Where mandatory law nevertheless grants non-waivable rights, those rights remain unaffected; for custom digital services, any right of withdrawal ends once performance has begun with the client's request or consent.
Professional Work Deserves Professional Terms
Custom automation is not a physical product — it is engineered labor.
