Technical details
The planned Engineer workflow uses an isolated Git branch, automated tests, browser verification, before/after evidence and a GitHub pull request. Deployment requires an approved release path and recovery plan. Safe Autopilot adds an allowlist of low-risk changes, post-deployment checks and rollback. It stops when a check is uncertain or a safe rollback is unavailable. Monitor has no code-writing or deployment permissions.

What exactly is an AI Website Engineer?
A digital employee designed to watch your website, investigate problems and, with the right permissions, prepare tested fixes. This is a product preview. The call is to discuss fit, scope and availability before you commit.
Can it break my website?
Any website change can go wrong. The planned safeguards are separate workspaces, tests, browser checks, approval rules and verification after a change. It cannot fix every problem, and uncertain work is escalated to a person.
Does it have access to my server?
Only the access agreed during onboarding. Public-page checks need less access than reading private error logs or deploying fixes. We agree the minimum permissions for your chosen scope before connecting anything.
Does it change my website without permission?
Monitor cannot edit code or production. Engineer prepares fixes but waits for approval before deployment. Safe Autopilot may deploy only categories of low-risk fixes that you have approved in advance.
What does “Safe Autopilot” mean?
A limited set of agreed fixes can be tested, deployed and checked automatically. It does not mean unlimited access. Payments, checkout logic, DNS, domains, destructive database work, significant content deletion, plugin removals and major infrastructure changes always require approval.
What happens if a fix fails?
A fix that fails testing should not go live. Safe Autopilot is designed to roll back approved deployments when verification fails, then notify you. If rollback is not possible or the result is uncertain, it stops and asks for human help. Recovery arrangements must be agreed before enabling deployment.
Do I need GitHub?
Not to explore the service or discuss monitoring. The planned Engineer workflow uses GitHub for proposed code changes and a clear review history. Edgar will check whether this fits your website and help plan the setup.
Does it work with WordPress?
WordPress is the first planned platform. AI WordPress maintenance needs careful checks around your theme, plugins and hosting, so compatibility will be confirmed before onboarding. The integration is not live yet.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
WooCommerce checks are planned, with safe test orders or a test site agreed first. Checkout and payment logic are always approval-only. No live purchases are made without permission.
Can it monitor more than one website?
That is part of the intended service. The listed plans describe one website; additional websites need a separate scope and price confirmed with Edgar.
What if I already have a developer? Will it replace them?
It is designed to work alongside your developer: investigate the issue, prepare evidence and offer a tested fix for review. Your developer still owns larger changes, architecture and decisions that need experience.
What does it cost?
The proposed monthly prices are €399 for Monitor, €699 for Engineer and €1,190 for Safe Autopilot, for one website. Monitoring frequency, usage limits, tax treatment, any setup cost and contract terms will be confirmed in writing before you buy. No payment is taken on this page.
Can I change autonomy level later?
Yes, the service is designed so you can start cautiously and change authority later. Any increase in permissions needs an explicit agreement and the right testing and recovery setup.
How quickly can you set it up?
There is no promised launch or setup date yet. This is the product preview, and the backend is still to be built. Edgar will explain what is ready, what your website needs and the realistic next steps on the call.
What happens during the free call?
You speak directly with Edgar for 20 minutes. Send your website beforehand, and he will look at the important pages, discuss what needs watching and explain which level could make sense. You do not need a technical brief.
Do I have to buy anything after the call?
No. There is no obligation, payment or account required. If this is not a good fit, Edgar will tell you.
